Job description
Our client is an innovative company specializing in the production of generators and is rapidly expanding in international markets such as the USA, Australia, and New Zealand. To comply with increasingly stringent regulations in the green energy and machinery sectors, our client is seeking an experienced Regulatory Officer to ensure adherence to various certification requirements and regulations.
THE POSITION
As a Regulatory Affairs Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with international certification and regulatory requirements for the innovative generator industry and sustainable solutions. You will work closely with external consultants in Europe, USA, Australia, and New Zealand, and coordinate processes to ensure that customers receive the appropriate certifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Regulatory Coordination: Manage and coordinate all regulatory requirements and certifications for generators.
- Documentation: Prepare and review documents such as user manuals and instructions to meet certification requirements (UL, Tier 4, CE marking).
- Risk Analysis: Assist in preparing risk analyses and other necessary compliance documents.
- Internal Expertise: Act as an in-house expert, provide training, and support other teams.
- Collaboration: Work with external consultants and certification bodies to ensure efficient and timely product certification.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: At least a bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field (mechanical engineering, electromechanical engineering, electrical engineering).
- Experience: Experience in machinery construction and electricity, with a background in obtaining certifications such as UL (USA), CE (Europe), and other relevant standards.
- Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of mechanical systems, electrification, and regulations related to machinery and safety.
- Ability to collaborate with different stakeholders.

You will be part of a growing energy company with a large international outreach. You will be coordinating all regulatory processes and contribute to energy solutions for large industrial players. The Regulatory Affairs Manager reports into to the Chief Scientific Officer.
