Product Manager - Chromatography

Job description

For a leading global manufacturer, we’re searching for a Product Manager in Chromatography. The company supplies precision labware as well as primary packaging solutions for Life Science Research, Diagnostics and Pharmaceutical markets.

As a member of the Group Portfolio team, you will manage the Chromatography product portfolio and associated products for the efficient planning and roll-out of marketing activities in order to maximize the Chromatography business to a global customer base, provide detailed technical support for customers and support Sales in developing the distribution channels.

  • Optimisation and maintenance of the existing product portfolio and focus on bringing new products to market
  • Strategic and operational cooperation with our key accounts and global sales partners
  • Providing technical information on products and applications
  • Development of communication concepts in cooperation with marketing communications and sales
  • Development of target group-specific training concepts, implementation of training courses as well as active participation in the preparation and implementation of national and international trade fairs

To be successful in this position, you should have excellent analytical capabilities and be a great communicator with a high level of social and organizational skills.  Successful candidates should ideally meet the following requirements:

Your qualifications

  • A University degree preferably in chemistry, biology, biochemistry or biotechnology
  • Broad knowledge of Chromatography and analytical science applications and techniques
  • Experience in a comparable position, ideally in a product or project management or scientific environment, would be desirable
  • Very good knowledge of German and fluent English, both written and spoken
  • High level of self-motivation, strong communication skills, as well as a goal-oriented and committed approach
  • Confident handling of Microsoft O365 applications
