Marketing Director

The company is the biggest producer in the Benelux region of power generators for various applications, including industry, leisure, agriculture, construction, welding, mobile vehicles, rental, backup, and more. It has offerings for the mainstream market or power generators but is in parallel developing a growing sustainability market with a new offering. Through the development of a new product, it is addressing the green energy market in very creative way.

The Marketing Director will lead the marketing efforts for our technical products, overseeing the development and implementation of marketing strategies to drive growth and brand awareness. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical knowledge, and leadership skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with various departments.



  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve business objectives and drive growth.

  • Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, print, events, etc.).

  • Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to understand technical products and translate features into compelling marketing messages.

  • Manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals, ensuring alignment with company goals and professional development.

  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies.

  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, making data-driven decisions for optimization.

  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies.

  • Coordinate with salesteams to ensure marketing efforts align with sales goals and support lead generation.

  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including media, agencies, and industry influencers.

  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and channels.



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred

  • Proven marketing experience within the industry, or building construction business

  • 7-10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role

  • Expertise in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns

  • Several years of experience in direct/indirect people management

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Fluent in French, Dutch & English

  • Proven strategic thinking fed by solid creativity

  • Self-starter and self-driven

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics

  • Experience in B2B marketing and/or multibrand is a plus
