BUSINESS UNIT HEAD ACTIVE FIRE PROTECTION
Scope of the role
The BU Head will lead the AFP Unit; steering both the commercial & technical support teams. He/she will be an important contributor to the growth strategy of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- The BU Head AFP will develop, introduce, and monitor KPI’s aligned to the overall business objectives. He/She will manage the performance of the teams and develop/coach individual team members in Belgium, Germany, France and Israel;
- Actively manage the sales funnel from prospection to long term agreement definition;
- Will co-develop & contribute to the company’s vision on innovation; will have the opportunity to define/contribute to the circularity strategy;
- Drives the sales and business development for the Active Fire Protection product solutions portfolio; representing EUR 30 million turnover;
- In charge of both relational sales & tender sales management;
- The BU Head AFP will focus on performance management & business development;
Commercial drive
- Responsible for executing the commercial plan for AFP worldwide;
- Will use his/her proven skills in price negotiation, tender managment, international accountmanagement, …
- Actively support the implementation of a CRM system;
- Will be responsible for executing the strategic plan and the effective management of the territory’s profit and loss for which he has the final responsibility. He/she will grow and defend the company’s position in the dedicated territory;
- Support marketing communication activities;
- Negotiates long term agreements with key accounts: institutional, industrial and OEM;
- Identifies and implements business development opportunities around services and after-market;
- Prepares the annual sales budget for AFP;
- Supports the business development and creates opportunities for growth in line with the company’s objectives.
- Manages and leads the direct reports, has a control over its territory and provides accurate reporting;
- Achieve the yearly business objectives, liaise between HQ and the local organizations, control that the contractual framework agreement is being locally respected and lead the global contract negotiations;
