Business Development Manager (product design)

Job description

As the Business Development Manager for French speaking Europe, you will be responsible for developing and executing the growth strategy in those regions. You will work closely with the teams in Flanders, The Netherlands and Germany to identify new business opportunities, build partnerships with key stakeholders, and drive revenue growth. Additionally, you will be responsible for building a high-performing team, nurturing talent, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute a growth strategy for the Walloon Region that aligns with the company's overall objectives
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the region, and develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, and create a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence
  • Drive revenue growth by implementing effective sales and marketing strategies, and optimizing operational efficiency
  • Represent the company in public forums and industry events, and be an advocate for the company's values and mission
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competition, and provide strategic insights to the executive team

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • A relevant degree in business, management, engineering, product development or related field; MBA preferred
  • Knowledge of the development of innovative products and services, preferably technology related
  • A proven track record of success in business development and revenue growth and building strong relations in an ecosystem
  • Strong knowledge of the Walloon Region business ecosystem, and a network of key contacts in the region;
  • Highly resilient and goal-oriented mindset
  • Excellent leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute complex business plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Experience with: IoT development, embedded software development, mechanical engineering, medical devices, product design is a plus
